Rain in the Duddon
I took this one a few months ago now. There was a heavy rain shower pushing down the Duddon Valley in the English Lake District whilst I was up on the hillside overlooking the valley itself. The low sun gave everything a warm golden glow and as soon as I saw the result of the shot on the LCD I knew I had it nailed. One frame was all I took and the moment was gone.

From what little I know of this region (mostly through your photographs!) - this is the quintessential capture. It is so well done Rob and congratulations on nailing the lighting so perfectly throughout the image. This photograph is truly something special.

Stunning, it's all in the moment and here it came together as you say...

Light primo.   Color primo.   The  entire look and feel just comes pouring out through the image.   Well captured and edited!   Makes me want to put on a rain coat.
