Grey Parrott
The Jurong Birk Park in Singapore does possess a wonderful collection of birds from around the world. It competes well with the more famous Zoo here. One of the birds I captured was this Grey Parrott.

Nicely done with the central red offsetting the general starkness of the capture. Two little details that are distracting me a tad are the chopped feathertip at the top and the orientation of the animal within the comp (I feel like there should be some intersection at bottom right). Can't complain about the mood, lighting or sharpness though!

With all the birds Avi shoots I thought this was his! Would have been nice to see a bit more of the bird but that no big deal. An all around nice interesting avian portrait.

Wow.. this is stunning! I have to agree with Patrick though.. I think a slight CW rotation would help the balance of this... and it's certainly an image worth experimenting with. The detail of the parot is breathtaking. All opinions aside.. those are nit picks.. it's damn good as is!
