I love aspen trees as a photographic subject. The fall images are cliché these days, thought still beautiful. This spring/summer look offers me something different. I like seeing the pencil like trunks among the tree tops. They break up the image, but also provide some order in their alignment. I kind of wish the dead tree in the upper left weren't there, but this is nature and that is to be expected.

I'm with Walter about the Spring colors on these trees. The canary yellow of autumn aspens is always beautiful, but this spring color that aspens produce seems different than most trees and is equally alluring in its own right.

Great composition and detail throughout - thanks for posting, Bob!
