Highland Stream
This beck was near a bothy that we walked to on our first afternoon in Diabaig. The water was just too tempting in the heat (28C) so I had a lie down in one of these pools.

That looks most inviting, especially in warm temperatures. I like the low point of view so that the water flows right into the viewer. I bet some adult frosty golden beverages chilled overnight in bottles in that stream would compliment nicely the time spent sitting in one of those polls!

I was actually standing in the river to cool off when I took this shot and the water tasted really good too (I made sure there were no fields for sheep upstream and took care to drink only from the fast flow parts of the river.) I have a vague plan to spend a few nights in the bothy with a couple of friends, so your plan regarding the beers might be put into practice! I wish I was back there now, the weather in the northwest has been awful the last week.
