Bleak House
Taken on the way over Kirkstone Pass this morning. I love this view, it just hangs together no matter what the weather is doing (that is... provided the view can actually be seen!). Quite fancy a version of it in heavy snow one of these days.

This house makes great subject matter. I don't know if the vignette helps here though. I'd probably skip it.

I'm agree with bob, the vignette is little to much.

I love it... vignette and all. I'm a bit jealous of your neighborhood... though I shouldn't be....I think Marin comes a little close (minus all the sheep). One of these days I'll actually get to Scotland. A dream of mine. Anyway.. love the photo!

Intimate drama in the way the house and its surroundings seem to fold together. The vignette adds to that effect, and I do not think that is a bad thing, on the contrary. Without the vignette it would have a much opener and less dramatic feel, which I think could also make for a great photo ! Best regards, Karin.
