Fly Me to the Moon
This was another shot from my apartment with the moon hovering over the clouds above Singapore. The light from the clouds are actually from the sunrise. I used Nik Software's Silver Efx Pro with a filter I rarely use (Underexpose EV-1) to get this effect.

Riveting image, Richard. You sure get the max mileage out of your awesome apartment view!

As soon as I saw this I thought of Ansel Adams' "Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico" which is my very favorite of his works. Don't know if this is meant as an homage to that one, but I connected with it instantly. Great work!

Thanks for the flattering comments...I must say that Mr. Adams did not pop into my brain and I know the shot you mean.  I just got back from 2 weeks in a remote island in Indonesia (Flores/Komodo) and I shot this very quickly the morning I left.  I just looked at it when I got home, processed it in about 2 minutes and posted.  Besides the Silver Efx Pro, I used Vivieza structure bar to give the moon it's definition.   The only thing the tail of a plane going through the clouds!!!   (My mind refers to movies as opposed to artists!!!....remember the opening credits to Airplane!?)  Thanks again.

I like this image it gives a feeling of floating in the sky,

And a plane tail or shark fin could addto the mystery Smile
