The American Southwest offers some of the world's finest landscapes, IMO, and this place is a good example of that. Here you have not selected the magic hour to light this particular vista, nor isolated any strong foreground focal point to anchor the image, contrary to the sensibilities that exude from the rest of your portfolio. So the impact of this image feels less the maximal, and yet I can't help but wish I was there right now. What is your personal feeling about this image, Bob?

Looks like a sweet spot to come back to late in the day.

Hey, Bob, I think I see a cloud on the horizon, can it be true?

I was on my was up to Show Low and pulled over for a reference shot or two. I plan to go back when the weather is more dramatic. As well, needed is a recreational day pass to drive any of the dirt roads on the res. As for what I think of the shot, it's a nice average shot of the location, nothing really special, but wanted to show this seldom visited southwest location.
