Meet The In-laws
This is my wife's father and step-mother. I took their portrait using a hand-painted studio canvas and studio lighting. This setup included a single light to the left inside a large softbox and a single white reflector to the right for fill.

Great portrait but he looks so frightened  He is really noy used to a camera.

The lighting is good and the B/G is nice and clean  Wink

Color and clarity is fantastic.   I like the expressions too.   I must be in a cropping mood, but I was thinking if this would be a little more powerful (not sure right word) if cropped proportionally down a little so the eyes are a little higher and lose the blues along the sides and top??  Very well done though!

Avi you are so right. It never occurred to me that his expression said "I'm frightened", ha ha. Believe it or not that is a strained smile. You can almost never get him to stop talking and just sit still and smile. He's over 70 and has more energy than I have at 48!
