The Monks of Bagan, Myanmar (Burma)
Prior to shooting this image, I spent about 30 minutes with these two monks seeing their humble home and enjoying their company. They were not on any tour, but as I was walking by, the monk in front and I shared a nice smile and he actually invited me in. We had a wonderful time and I learned a lot prior to me even raising my camera. Having these preceding moments really allowed me to capture natural, relaxing smiles. Time well spent.
