The Parthenon - Nashville, Tennessee
The Parthenon in Centennial Park in Nashville Tennessee was built in 1897 for the Tennessee Centennial Exposition. It is an exact replica in features and size to the original in Athens, Greece. If only I had arrived about 15-20 minutes earlier to get a nicer blue in the sky. This is a 4 second exposure. See for more info on The Parthenon and the Tennessee Centennial Exposition.

Is that a Rocky pose?  Wonderful that you were able to get this all to yourself for at least 4 seconds.  The result is excellent and I like the god-fearing sky as it is.  Great color and detail is excellent.   I actually never knew this existed before and I have never been to Nashville.   Very cool.

Thanks Richard. Since the Art Museum that resides inside closes around 6pm and dusk doesn't come until 8 pm or so during the summer it is much easier to get the place to yourself then. I was there during the day also and there were plenty of people there with Nashville tour services. The dusk time of day quite frankly makes a much better picture. I'll post a daytime image for comparison.

I think the blue is just right! But if you don't - well, with all those pixels you could post process all day to get exactly what your mind's eye saw there!
