Tagong Grasslands in Daxue Mountains, Sichuan Province,, China
Amoung the Daxue Mountain range west of Chengdu in the Sichuan Province of China lies a very barren and arid environment called the Tagong Grasslands. This is where, still today, many of the Tibetian people still make up homes in tents and wander the countryside with their families and animals. I enjoyed the raw beauty for miles along this stretch of highway. We were about 3500m high.

You really have to veiw this in its largest format to appreciate it. What a wonder, arid landscape. There isn't much color, but it really conveys the landscape and how tough it must be to eek out a life here. Its great too that you had cooperative skies with clouds.

 I agree with Walter

The sky also looks clean and crisp
