Sandhill cranes in morning light
The cranes spend time (3-6 weeks) in an area called HULA not far from my home 45 min. on there way from Europe to Africa there are some that remain in the area during the winter and then in March return to Europe

That sure is alot of birds in one place. We get the Sandhills near here too. They remind me of pre-historic fossils.
