An Open Window on Mount Hood
This is shot from the inside of Timberline Lodge on the slopes of Mount Hood, Oregon. I intentionally took this photo while the tourist was still in the frame in order to add a touch of interest and scale to the image. Sigma SD14, Sigma 18-250mm OS @ 31mm, ISO 100, f/11, 1/200s, hand held.

Terrific photograph, Roger! I love not only the choice to frame Mount Hood so effectively with the silhoutted window frame, but also the fact that the window is open. That adds depth and interest while also seeming to invite the viewer into the outdoors.

I didn't even notice the hiker until reading your caption, but I agree it enhances the scale of things here. Well done!
