The Summer that Never Was
The weather this "summer" really has been a very poor imitation of the season. I took this one today on the way home from the western Lakes today along a road I don't take the time to enjoy quite as often as I should!

It was a good excuse to get the 17-40 out though, I haven't used that lens much of late having turned more and more often to the Sigma 24mm prime. But sometimes it is rather nice to play with the ultra wides!

Very nice "mood" shot. Love the colors and the light and the drama in the sky.

I too like the drama and the mood of the scene. My only nit is the near vertical center placement of the horizon. I also wonder how this would look with a slightly cooler color temperature applied to it. It has a slight yellow cast on my monitor making it look a little warm.
