Patrick Flynn
Hi I am Pat Flynn and I have been a photographer almost all my life, since a very young child. I have always loved photography because of the beauty in this world that it allows humans to isolate on a personal scale, and then celebrate on a much broader one. Now is the best time ever to love photography and I feel lucky to be a part of this timing and the current evolutions.

Travel has been my passion because of photography. A quest for the new and exciting has always struck me as a natural consequence of the photographic medium, for those who are compelled by it. So TPN is a natural fit for me and I am so glad that this new incarnation is thriving again.

I have a wife and two kids under 4 years old, all of us living in Alexandria, Virginia, USA. I work in Washington and love to travel as far afield as possible from here, always with camera in tow. I vow never to go a year of my life without visiting a new country, and in reality my hopes are to exceed that pace. But new parenthood may keep me content with one-offs for awhile! However if any of you will be nearby here, drop me a line through the TPN messaging system and you can stay in our guest bedroom a few nights! Hopefully I can show you around a bit too.

One of the most important lessons I have learned as a parent is the Power of Cupcakes.

Very loving photo and nice synopsis of yourself !!!! All the best to you for all your future endeavours Smile

nice shot of you guys... and take it from me, (mine have grown up) never ever forget the power of bribery with kids, it works when all else fails....

keep up posting your pics here, I really enjoy seeing them, and hopefully one day I will be in your part of the States...

Patrick - I entirely sypathise with the curtailment of your travel!  We are going to give it a go long haul in a few weeks with Lachlan and I am somewhere between excitement and dread!

If you should ever find yourself on the other side of the pond let me know!

Awe Patrick! That is so sweet! And as the mother of 3 girls I totally understand the power of cupcakes! Enjoy the wee ones!
