silver wave..
I was down the hibiscus Coast of Kwazulu Natal in South Africa trying to get some photos of the annual sardine run, and almost by accident decided to shoot this wave as it broke, given I was shooting in normal mode I was pretty astounded to get this shot, which came out almost perfectly mono...

Excellent photo Andrew and the light indeed was wonderful, certainly if you did not adjust the color at all.  The ocean is so hard to capture and the lighting makes a big difference.  Position of the horizon is good and the birds add a nice touch.  The only thing I would offer is to try to darken a little of the light directly below the wave as seems a bit too bright.   Looks like a great place to be!
