I love the textures that can be found in rocks on the shoreline. This one was made on the shore of Loch Torridon, but it reminded me of the Pancake Rocks on the South Island (NZ). They were a bit bigger and more spectacular there, but this miniature version is great too.
I took out the colour and gave it a subtle duotone treatment to emphasize the texture. It is best viewed big and the large print I made on Hanhnemuhle Photo Rag looks great.
