This was a couple of years ago in the fantastic Inverewe Botanical Gardens on the west coast of Scotland. I thought a little less colour would set this one apart from the other entries!

In all honesty, I have had a more challenging time getting used to your style and I must say...it is really growing positively.  We appear to be somewhat opposite and that it very good.   You are much more subtle and generally utilizing less "pop" as I call it in my images.  Well, this one is superb and I would love to see it printed on canvas with a white matte with a thin black layer inbetween and then a subtle black frame.   Although not heavy on contrast, it really shows off the details of the flowers so well and I like the way you fill up the frame with them.   Thanks for sharing this...very cool.

Very nice!  I like this a lot.  This breaks away from the usual treatment of a single flower in the frame - so it's good to see a frame filled with these gorgeous blooms and even more unusual that it's a monochrome image.  It works brilliantly - print it large and sell it in your local gallery.

Thanks Tricia, I have sold a few copies of this as A3 prints and as a greeting cards, not on canvas yet!
