Lizard King
I took this at the ancient Mayan ruins of El Rey in the city of Cancun, Mexico. My wife and I took a cheap city bus from near our hotel to this site about 10 minutes away. We got there around 8:30 a.m., shortly after the site opened for the day. Besides a few groundskeepers, the only visitors were us and many, many iguanas.

I wish the iguana's eye was in the light instead of slight shade, otherwise the lines all draw the viewer there.

I bet that with a B&W treatment and a sharpening pass or two, this would be absolutely striking. The bokeh is already perfect.
