Alm Bowl for Buddhist Monks to collect rice every morning in Luang Prabang, Laos

Luang Prabang is a fascinating town in Laos mostly noted for the large population of Buddhist monks and monestaries. Every morning at 6:30, hundreds of monks walk the streets in lines to stop and collect rice and other food from the locals in this bowl. It has become a World Heritage site.

I do like this one, I don't know that I would have gone down the selective colour route myself, but it does draw the focus onto the bowl.
What I like is that it shows me something of the daily life of the buddhists in that location, something that I didn't know of and that makes it interesting.
