Two of a kind
I had one day with poor weather in Venice. Some of the costumes that worked best in sunshine were less effective in overcast conditions. And others like these worked better for the poor light.

I like this. It's classic without being a cliche. The fact that the rear face is slightly out of focus grabs my eye then sends me right back to the foreground focusing on the jewelry.

I rather like this - at first glance it looks like a pair of mannequins clad in the costumes, but then you just see the human eye inside which just gets the imagination going nicely!  


I shall look forward to seeing more :-)



Ian, this is a classic travel image. Until reading Rob's comment I hadn't noticed the human eye, and that makes a world of difference. My lack of attention to detail caused me to skip over this shot and its hidden power. Nice work!
