This has the feeling of an antique, like it was shot as a daguerreotype almost. If you could pull some detail into the sky then that balance might provide additional resonance.

Unfortunately, there was no detail in the sky at all: a very dull grey day. I could 'invent' a sky from another picture, but that is just a little bit too much 'manipulation' for my liking :-)
