If you were to drive down Highway 1 from San Diego, as you get further south, you get into dramatically barren, dessert landscape. After you pass "Scammons Lagoon", where there is significant thrills in whale watching, you all of a sudden come onto this wonderful oasis of life. San Ignacio is a town located down in this river bed through a long canyon, which is rich in green trees and plenty of water. Fantastic town to visit too with charming local center and friendly people.

When on business in Cardiff, I spent a weekend and drove around the southern tip of Wales and very much to my delight, I stopped in the coastal town of Tenby. This is one of those sweet surprises in life where you go somewhere totally not expecting anything and a charming, delightful and colorful place like this shows up. It shows to continue to discover the world no matter what.

The Botanical Gardens located just outside my condo just opened and I decided to take a walk this morning. For once, it did not rain, so a very nice sunrise and the light was quite good across the downtown Singapore area. The new Garden enclosures are on the left, with the Sands Hotel in the middel with the "boat" on top and the Art Gallery (Funny white "hand" type object) on the right.

Standing on Coronado Island across the harbor, the San Diego skyline reflected the sunlight with the Belt of Venus behind it. This belt is when the shadaw of the Earth causes the colors to soften to pink before turning dark.
