David duChemin has been telling stories with his camera for over twenty years. It started with a Voigtlander camera purchased at a garage sale and just never ended. His dream in highschool was to shoot for National Geographic. Then he went off to theology college to become a pastor and promptly became a full-time comedian upon graduation. Go figure. Now coming full circle, David is shooting humanitarian and travel photography when he’s not on stage. He’s shot in a Russian winter, an Amazon summer, in Haiti, Europe, and most recently as part of a team creating a cookbook in Ethiopia. David is an impassioned advocate of great storytelling in images and a digital junkie. A fanatical member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, David has spent his last day in the chemical darkroom and is never looking back. Besides; it’s never the tools, it’s the artist that counts.
David lives in Vancouver, Canada with his wife Sharon, two cats, and too many Macs. His photography can be seen at www.pixelatedimage.com
